Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne were in Portland a few weeks ago to talk about their new book "Mason-Dixon Knitting Outside the Lines" That same day I was driving back from a week long trip and I made it a point to be back in time to see them. They did a slide show talk on how they met and how they developed this book. It was pretty funny. The one lesson that struck me was to "Pull from the tangle" (You know that big knot you get in your yarn when you are knitting and you can't get it undone), the term basically means to just deal with what is going on and to pull from the tangle and keep going.
Check it out, I got my book signed and stamped!
They even brought the samples photographed in the book for us all to fondle!
Me and Kerin wearing the "Pardon Me" wigs
Yeah, I'm a little late blogging about this book signing, but better late than never right??
