Friday Fill-Ins

1. When I heard that Billy Mays died I thought, who am I going to watch at 2 in the morning when I can't sleep?

2. Advil and Nyquil are the best medicine.

3. It's late, but I still want to get things done.

4. I will love my Hazel always.

5. My eyes have seen only a tiny part of this world.

6. There are few things that I feel strongly about.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to grocery shopping, tomorrow my plans include the farmer's market and seeing my mom, I don't think we'll do fireworks and Sunday, I want to do something!

Friday Fill-Ins (from last Friday)

1. She had a great life.

2. My husband and baby are/is by my side, always.

3. I know this: C-Sections are not as bad as I thought, however without drugs they would be a whole lot worse!

4. I'm still on pain meds.

5. These words apply to me: knitter, spinner, wife, mother.

6. I love that the sun was shining today.

Thankful Thursday

I missed TT last week because I was asleep in bed the whole day, but it would have just said:
10 Fingers and 10 Toes

On to this week...

My mom - she came to help us out for the first 4 days after the hospital. She was such a blessing to have here. She took care of our meals, cleaning and laundry, plus all of the things I didn't realize that made our house sparkle. I don't think we could have managed all that we did if she wasn't here to help us.

My inlaws finally being excited about the baby. During my whole pregnancy they were ho-hum about it, but once they held her, they can't get enough of her!

Easy peasy Bum Genious cloth diapers, they are a breeze to change, but we definitely need more than 6.

My thoughtful husband who presented me with a pearl necklace after Hazel was born. It was a "push present".

My sweet baby girl who is so good and hardly cries (only when she wants food). She is more than I could ever have hoped for!

Garter stitch makes me sleepy

Maybe i should have used circulars...
