We only had pearl for 10 months. It was love at first sight. I found her at OFFF last September. She let me hold her and did not fuss one bit. She was going to be my source of angora fur to spin, and it was such soft fur too. She was going to be our pet. She taught me that rabbits have personalities, just like dogs and cats. We had her spayed so that she could live longer. She annoyed me so much when she would get ahold of my knitting books and chew on them. She got sick so fast and there was nothing that we could have done different to save her. She was our bun-bun and we're going to miss her.

Oh no! I'm so sad for you. We lost our dog a few years ago, he was under a year old. I think it makes it worse when they're so young and when it happens so fast. Rest in peace, little bun-bun (that's what I call my little bunny, too)
She was such a beautiful girl, and I'll miss the stories of her & Ernie.
I know you keep her in your heart.
