Thankful Thursday

Hmmmm.....I can blame it on the baby! Yes!!! That's what I'll do!

Sorry I have been such a blog slacker lately. My excuse is that I have an adorable baby that is using up all of my energy every day and when I am able to get on my computer I am usually holding her or feeding her and don't have two (or even one) hands to type with. I can barely mouse around ravelry or facebook! It's not like I don't have anything to blog about either. In my head I have composed so many nice posts, but then never have time to type them out. Then I feel guilty about not blogging. Then when I do sit down to blog I don't know where to start, so I'm starting with this post and I don't care that it's not Thursday!

The Air conditioner working it's tail off this week! The heatwave is finally settling down! After 8 days in a row of over 90 degrees and and a few of those were over 100, we are starting to see some "cooler temps" and by the end of this week we might even see some rain! Wow!

My friends who came over when Hazel was 3 weeks old and cleaned our house, worked in our garden, brought us cooked food and did grocery shopping. It helped out so much, they probably won't ever know how much I appreciated their generosity!

My friends Delinah & Sara who listened to me vent about all the stress and pain I had been having and made me feel like I was not alone.

My friend Nancy who learned how to crochet just so she could make Hazel a blanket!

For my dear friend Patrice - she made this exquisite quilt that Hazel just loves! It has such pretty fabrics. I wish I had a queen sized one to go on my bed ;) She even sent this cute turtle onesie and a fun book about a knitting spider named Rhonda.



And for Kathleen who made two baby items, this cute hat and sundress!! The hat fits her right now, and the sundress will fit her if I put a ribbon around the waist to cinch it in!
