Yesterday the weather here was so beautiful, we decided to drive over to the coast! We had a picnic lunch in Seaside. Then we went to Cannon Beach to go to Coastal Yarns, only to find out they weren't there anymore (later, I looked them up online and they had moved one block over, however they couldn't be bothered to put a sign on the door, UGH!!). CB was so crowded, we drove down the coast a little further to a small beach called Hug Point. It was not very crowded, and there was just enough wind for Owen to fly his kite, but not make it so the sand was blowing everywhere. I sat on my blanket and worked on my February Lady sweater. For dinner we stopped in Astoria at the Fred Meyer and got a few things to make sandwhiches, then we headed home.

Hi. I'm so sorry you were not able to find us. We would have loved to have a sign on our former location. The property owner would not allow it. Something about it would be bad for his business of renting the space. It hasn't help us much :) I hope to see you the next time you are in Cannon Beach. We are one block north on Hemlock, directly across from Bruce's Candy Kitchen...the pink and white stripe building. Thank you so much for trying to come see us!
